VWP Requirements
Who is eligible for the Visa Waiver program’s ESTA travel permit?
- Those who intend to visit the US for no more than 90 days.
- Those who are traveling for tourism, business, transit, or short-term study purposes.
- Those who possess a current biometric passport issued by a country that participates in the Visa Waiver Program.
- Those who have a return or onward ticket that has been authorized by the VWP carrier.
- Those who possess a valid ESTA travel authorization.
Once landed:
- You are welcomed by a United States Customs and Border Protection officer when you arrive at your port of entry.
- You must renounce your right to question, protest, or review the US Customs and Border Protection officer's judgment (This includes any choice to expel you from the US on the basis of a VWP application).
- You must give up the right to challenge or appeal any removal order issued by the United States based on applications to the Visa Waiver Program.
- At the time of your disembarkation in the United States, you must provide the necessary biometric data (fingerprints or pictures).
- You must have adhered to all Visa Waiver Program requirements during earlier admissions to the US.
